Tuition

As a true co-op, tuition covers what it costs to run our class — our classroom, class materials, and above all, fair professional pay for our teacher. So instead of one fixed price, we share the math: the more families join, the less everyone pays. And every tier is a genuine value — the session includes 20 hours of teacher-led class time, which works out to $8.75–$16.25 per hour depending on enrollment. Compare that to the going rate for a babysitter or a 45-minute enrichment class, and this might be the best-spent morning of your homeschool week.

When you register, you commit to a maximum of $325 per family for the full 10-week session. As our class grows, the rate drops for everyone:

  • 8 to 12 families → $325 ($16.25/hr)

  • 13–19 families → $250 ($12.50/hr)

  • 20–24 families → $200 ($10/hr)

  • 25+ families → $175($8.75/hr — where we land if we sell out)

Tuition is one flat rate per family. Siblings welcome: enrolling an additional child adds a flat $50 materials fee per sibling for the session.

Where your tuition goes

Every dollar stays in the classroom: our space at the Education Foundation, materials for the children, and our teacher. As enrollment grows, our teacher's pay grows with it — so when you join, and when you tell a friend, you're directly supporting the person taking care of our kids. No profit, no middleman. Any small remainder seeds supplies and future sessions.

Deposit & enrollment

A $150 non-refundable deposit secures your child's spot and applies toward your tuition. Deposits are refunded only if the session is cancelled.

Enrollment closes Friday, September 4th — one week before our first class. That's when we count our families, announce everyone's final rate, and collect the remaining balance — as little as $17.50 per class if we sell out.

Drop-off, or stay and play

This is a drop-off program — enjoy two hours to yourself each Friday! But our door is always open, and parents are welcome to stay and take part as much or as little as they wish.

Helper Fridays — the heart of the co-op

Each family signs up for one teacher-helper day during the session: a Friday spent supporting our teacher with activities and play. It's one morning per season, it keeps our co-op humming, and it gives you a front-row seat to your child's learning community. Sign-ups open once enrollment closes.

What to bring

Please send your child with a water bottle and a snack each Friday. Everything else is provided.
