My teaching philosophy is deeply rooted in nature-based, play-based education and is informed by both Waldorf and Reggio Emilia pedagogies. I love creating meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that honor each child's unique strengths, interests, and pace of development.

Whether we're reading stories beneath the trees, discovering insects on a trail, exploring early math through play, or tending a garden together, my goal is always to nurture confident, joyful, and compassionate learners. I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Dickinson College, where I studied Education with an emphasis in education law and policy alongside a minor in Africana Studies. I have also completed my Early Childhood Education certification and practicum training through the University of Arizona, further strengthening my foundation in child development, curriculum design, classroom management, and developmentally appropriate practice.

Above all, I strive to create a learning environment where every child feels safe, deeply known, and excited to learn. It is a true privilege to partner with families and support children as they grow into curious, capable, and kind human beings.
